Petrochemicals

Oil and natural gas usage will be transitioning from burning to drive vehicles and generating electricity to feedstocks for the petrochemical industries over the next 20 years. The pressure to offset further damage to the climate caused by burning fossil fuels is growing rapidly despite profit-driven opposition from the oil and gas independents and major corporations and, especially their stakeholders, i.e., Koch Brother, etc. New markets in volume and types are developing now in the petrochemical industry, and is the case for coal, i.e., in a new carbon industry involving graphene and other carbon-based products (see: http://web.i2massociates.com/search_resource.php?search_value=graphene&sort=date#page=1 )
